Clara Cebrián Spain, Madrid, 1991
Biographie
Clara Cebrián is a Madrid-based multidisciplinary artist schooled in the art of digital and interactive media in London. Combining painting, drawing, animation and video, she creates a colourful world that is uniquely her own.
In a symphony of colours made of oil, pastels and pencils on canvas, her works tell of a summer universe. Like short narratives full of secrets, memories of the past, and small details, her artworks combine both contemporary tools and other, more traditional ones such as textile design or ceramics.
Cebrián’s work is a reflection of everyday life and personal experiences, yet it transcends the mundane through its vibrant palette and fluid motion.
