Sara Lundkvist’s artistic practice is deeply inspired by magical phenomena, spirituality, and science fiction. Drawing from these themes, she creates  glass objects that evoke desire, hope and dreams – pieces that seem to originate from another world, spanning the mystical darkness to the full spectrum of a rainbow’s colours .

Her glass sculptures, crafted through a combination of blown and molded glass techniques, challenge the boundaries of traditional craftsmanship.In her latest work, Sara has expanded her practice to include both smaller pieces and large-scale installations.  Through innovative combinations of techniques, she creates expressions that defy expectations of what glass can be. This can involve transforming the material to resemble something entirely different or pushing its behavior in ways that seem almost impossible.
