This spring, MABE Gallery welcomes the season of renewal with "Viva le printemps!", a group show featuring the work of 20 contemporary artists from Switzerland and across Europe. Offering a fresh perspective through a soft and colorful seasonal palette, this exhibition showcases a diversity of media, such as glass sculptures, pastels, acrylic paintings, and abstract photography. This spring collective invites both seasoned collectors and new art enthusiasts to discover an elegant yet accessible selection.

At the heart of the exhibition, Milan-based artist Sofia Cacciapaglia transformed the gallery’s front window in a live performance on March 17–18 as part of MABE’s "Off-Frame" project. Launched in January 2025, this project reimagines the front window into a space for creative expression outside the gallery walls. Cacciapaglia's work titled Renaissance and painted on recycled cardboard, transformed the window space into a delicate and immersive flower garden. Her acrylic flowers celebrate the delicate beauty of spring and femininity. Using recycled cardboard, she in turn grants the material a new life, along with the rebirth of spring.

Exhibition highlights:

New abstract photographs by the artistic duo Atelier Onoko, whose work is to be featured in a solo show at the gallery the following month ; Swedish artist Sara Lundkvist’s glass portals ; and a new poetic 15-piece series by Agnès Bourély titled L'entre-mille lévite résolument. Mexican-Swiss artist Olga Burkard also embraced the theme of spring with her new series Unseen Life, in which she reimagines one-cell organisms, celebrating the invisible nature around us.
