CAROLINE LESEUR

Caroline Leseur is a self-taught French artist who lives and works in Paris. She studied modern literature and contemporary history, and began a career in the film industry. At the same time, always sensitive to all forms of artistic expression, she embarked on a pictorial work on canvas and on paper. As part of the trend of predominantly geometric abstraction, her works represent a constant quest for balance between forms, their juxtaposition and color. Both light and frame play an essential role in the realisation of her compositions. From canvas to canvas, Caroline aspires to ever more fluidity and minimalism in form and gesture.
